This was a really fun read and exactly the kind of book I’d want to take on a lake vacation. The pacing kept things moving, and the plot itself was genuinely engaging with some solid twists that kept me guessing.
Where it lost me a bit was in the realism. Some of the connections and coincidences felt a little too convenient, which made parts of the story harder to fully buy into. It didn’t ruin the experience, but there were moments where I had to just go with it instead of feeling fully immersed.
Overall, though, it’s an entertaining, fast-paced read that’s perfect if you’re looking for something gripping and easy to get into.
